Spyro: A Hero's Tail is the fifth console game in the original Spyro series and the ninth game in the series in all. Developed by Eurocom, it was the first game in the series for the Xbox, as well as the second game in the series for the PlayStation 2 and GameCube (with the former console release being the only one of the three to support widescreen). It is also the final installment in the original Spyro continuity for home consoles. This is also the first and only Spyro game to be completely produced in Europe. The game introduces a new antagonist, Red, a former Dragon Elder banished years before the events of the game, and sees the protagonist, Spyro the Dragon, attempt to defeat him with the aid of his best friend Sparx, Hunter the Cheetah, flying penguin Sgt. Byrd, and mole Blink, who are all playable.

Step into the guise of furry flyboy Fox McCloud as he returns to take on his deadliest enemy; wingmen Slippy Toad, Peppy Hare and Falco Lombardi are covering your back, as you take on hordes of intergalactic hostiles on land and in air. Hop into Arwings for aerial skirmishes and Landmaster Tanks for ground-based confrontations, or simply run around on foot dispensing laser justice; the searing single player adventure is a total blast, while the glorious four-way split-screen mode is sure to keep you and your friends coming back for more. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is the first Zelda game for the Nintendo GameCube and also the first in the series to employ cel-shading, a lighting and texturing technique that results in the game having a cartoon-like appearance. Like its predecessors, The Wind Waker is an action game with puzzle-solving and light role-playing elements. Basic gameplay mechanics are similar to those found in Ocarina of Time, but it differentiates itself with its massive Great Sea which must be explored using a boat named King of Red Lions.
