Wolfenstein: The New Order is an action-adventure shooter game played from a first-person perspective. It is the semi-sequel to 2009's Wolfenstein, however utilizes very little from the game and drops any direct references to veil or supernatural. To progress through the story, the player battle enemies throughout levels. The game utilizes a health system in which players' health is divided into separate sections that regenerate; if an entire section is lost, the player must use a health pack to replenish the missing health. In combat, a cover system can be used as assistance against enemies. The player have the ability to lean around, over, and under cover, which can be used as a tactical advantage during shootouts and stealth levels. The game gives the player a wide variety of weapon options—they can be found on the ground, retrieved from dead enemies, or removed from their stationary position and carried around.

Project CARS is a racing simulation similar to the Gran Turismo, Forza Motorsports and GTR FIA Racing series. Different to those titles the game does not offer initial content where the player has to race and earn experience to perform upgrades and additional cars and tracks. Instead, all of the content is available right away and players can race in any mode, class, car and on any circuit immediately. Similar to games like iRacing and Assetto Corsa it offers very detailed customization where players can fine-tune almost any aspect of the cars, but contrary to those two titles there is not only multiplayer racing, but also a full career mode with offline races against AI-controlled opponents. Optionally various assists can be enabled to simplify the gameplay.

Burnout Paradise is an arcade racing game set in an open world called Paradise City, a departure from the fixed tracks of earlier Burnout games. Players roam the city freely and start events by pulling up to intersections, choosing their own routes to each finish line rather than following set courses. The series' emphasis on high speed and spectacular crashes returns through features such as the Showtime mode, which lets players trigger a crash sequence anywhere at any time. Completing events raises the player's driver rank and unlocks new cars, and an online system supports additional cooperative and competitive modes. It was the first Burnout game released on Windows and later received a remastered version bundling its downloadable content.
