Super Smash Bros. Brawl is an Adobe Flash game published by Extra Toxic as part of its Nintendo advent calendar microsite. The game was made to promote the game of the same name. Once the player starts the game, the player will have to alternate between clicking on one of their swords to send a beam into the opposing character (when that character is not using a shield on that spot), and holding up their own shield to deflect the other character's sword. While the character that the player is facing will change after either character hits the other, the player is always playing as Mario. The game ends when either the player or the computer-controlled character hits their opponent five times. If the player wins, the game will save the amount of time it took for them to finish the game as the player's record.

Pokémon Green, along with Pokémon Red, are the first video games in the Pokémon series of games. They are the first paired versions of Generation I. Developed over the course of several years, Red and Green established several standards for later Pokémon games and sequels. They take place in the Kanto region, with the player having to collect eight Gym Badges to become the Pokémon Champion while also completing the Pokédex by collecting all 151 Pokémon.

Super Smash Bros. Melee is the second installment in the Super Smash Bros. series and the follow-up to the Nintendo 64 title. It includes all playable characters from the first game, and also adds characters from franchises such as Fire Emblem, of which no games had been released outside Japan at the time. Super Smash Bros. Melee builds on the first game by adding new gameplay features and playable characters: it's major focus is the multiplayer mode, while still offering a number of single-player modes.
