PlayTracker Guide

Your pages

Your PlayTracker account comes with three pages: profile, library, and stats. All three pages share the same header and sidebar with the following elements:

  • Cover image
  • Avatar
  • Username
  • Title
  • Level
  • Career stats
  • Badges
  • Linked profiles
  • Hardware platforms

Like much of PlayTracker, all of these elements are customizable. The level, badges, cover image, and title are tied to progression which you can learn more about in the “Showing off” chapter.

Most elements are visible to friends only by default and must be manually set to public if you want just anyone on the internet to be able to see them. More on that in the “Setting up” chapter.

Profile

Your profile is the default page people see when they click on you anywhere on PlayTracker. It consists of cards that you can adjust and reorder - or even create a completely custom one using profile decorations (cover images and stickers) you’ve unlocked and box art of games you’ve played.

You can unlock more profile decorations by beating games and completing challenges. More on that in the “Showing off” chapter.

Create a custom profile card

Use stickers, that's a good trick.

Library

Every game you’ve played on any linked account will show up in your unified game library, with playtime and achievement information. You can browse everything using a variety of sorting algorithms and filters, as well as label games to further organize your library.

The available labels are:

  • Backlog: you intend to play this game in the future. Games with this label will randomly appear in the Backlog Dungeon feature (more about that in the “Showing off” chapter)
  • Unavailable: you no longer have access to this game (e.g. it was in a subscription you have since cancelled). Games with this label will not be selected for challenges generated from your library.
  • Hall of Fame: this game is one of your all-time favorites, a personal game of the year. You can only put this label on a limited number of games based on your level (1 every 10 levels up to level 100) and history of gaming activity (1 for every year of activity).

Put a game in your Hall of Fame

There is no higher honor.

Separately, you can also mark games as Hidden, which will exclude them from all calculations and hide them from everyone including you. The only way to see them is to filter to search specifically for hidden games.

Finally, there is also a label category for the level of completion. You can tag games as Completed yourself, and PlayTracker will automatically apply the Mastered label when you earn all core game achievements, or the Perfected label when you earn absolutely all achievements.

Stats

Your third and final user page is the stats page, which features a variety of stats and graphs about your gaming career and your interactions with other people on PlayTracker. You can see your activity over the years, platform breakdown, user persona, and more.
