PlayTracker Guide
Showing off
PlayTracker features many ways to show off your accomplishments and unlock new cosmetic decorations for your profile.
Decorations
You can unlock a variety of cosmetic profile decorations to make your pages your own:
- Choose a Title to appear alongside your username on user pages and across the app
- Use Cover images as either the header image at the top of your user pages or when crafting a custom profile card
- Place Stickers when crafting a custom profile card
Decorations are usually tied to a game and you can unlock all of a game’s decorations by completing all of its core achievements. Alternatively, you can unlock individual decorations by spending your Reputation - a currency you earn by completing various objectives on PlayTracker (and only this way - this isn’t some microtransaction trap).
Seasonal challenges
Many of our progression features on Quest are tied to a seasonal cycle that roughly corresponds to the season in real nature, resetting on the 1st of September, 1st of December, 1st of March, and 1st of June.
Every Season has a theme and a set of challenges that align with that theme:
- Global challenges - curated by the PlayTracker team and available to all users
- Community challenges - won in a Reputation bidding war at the start of a Season and selected by the 4 winning community members, available to all users
- Friend challenges - created by people you follow on PlayTracker, so remember to create your own for the people that follow you
- Personal challenges - generated randomly from your gaming library
Personal challenge generation is a little glitchy: sometimes achievements are selected that are no longer available, broken in-game, or otherwise not viable. For these cases, a “Skip” option is available which deletes the challenge and lets you roll a new one.
Backlog Dungeon
We know it, you know it, everybody knows it - you’ve got too many games on your backlog.
That’s where Backlog Dungeon comes in: found at the bottom of the Quest page are three slots into which you can randomly roll games from your Backlog and then earn Reputation for every achievement you complete. The more games you have in your Backlog, the bigger the Reputation bonus will be.
When you’re done with a game, or when you just want to defy the game chosen by RNG, you can skip a game and roll a different one, but then that game will not appear in Backlog Dungeon for the remainder of the Season. Not to worry - while the skipped games reset at the end of a Season, whatever is in your Backlog Dungeon stays so you can finish up without any worries.
Guilds
Rank up and themed unlock rewards with Guilds: cross-platform gaming communities on PlayTracker with challengers, rewards, leaderboards, and the latest relevant news.
Whether you’re a fan of a specific publisher, a long-running franchise, or simply a whole genre of games, Guilds provide a way for you to complete challenges, connect with other gamers, find more cool games to play, keep up with the latest news, and earn cool rewards along the way.
Each Guild features its own specific progression system where playing relevant eligible games lets you rank up and unlock appropriate rewards like themed profile decorations. At the end of this path is usually a unique Badge to spruce up your profile.
Guilds are currently only created by PlayTracker in association with specific partners, but we will soon release a tool for everyone to make their own!

League
Compete on a leaderboard of the highest scoring achievement hunters this season, both globally and among your friends, with League.
Each achievement completed during a season on any platform supported by PlayTracker grants 1 score, up to 100 score per game and up to 100 score per day (+50 bonus if leftover from the day before).
League ties into the same seasonal cycle as challenges. Once a season concludes, Reputation is granted based on how you placed.
